This a non-refundable portion of your total cost. This officially holds your time on my calendar and helps me prepare for your shoot. Once it’s paid, I begin preparing for your shoot, including planning your session details, scouting locations, and setting aside time for editing afterward. It also means I turn away other inquiries for that date, which is why it's non-refundable if you cancel last-minute.
The retainer is applied toward your final payment—so it’s not an extra charge, just a way to confirm we're all set to go!
