Over the years, I’ve explored so many amazing places for photoshoots in and around Denver. Whether you're into mountain views, urban vibes, or whimsical natural settings, here are some of my go-to spots that never disappoint.
Lair o’ the Bear Park (Morrison)
Nestled along Bear Creek, this location feels like stepping into a peaceful forest fairytale. The winding creek, soft wildflowers, and tall grasses create a dreamy, intimate setting—perfect for romantic couples or playful family moments.

South Valley Park (Littleton)
Hidden just south of Red Rocks, this park offers stunning red rock formations with fewer crowds. The soft foothills and wide-open spaces make it ideal for dramatic, earthy shots. One of my personal faves when we want bold but quiet beauty..

Chautauqua Park (Boulder)
The Flatirons never disappoint. With open meadows, rustic fences, and that iconic slanted rock view, this park has a classic Colorado feel. It's worth the drive if you want sweeping mountain backdrops with that wild, rugged charm.

Tucked just west of Morrison, Mt. Falcon feels like a mountain retreat without the hike. Pine trees, sweeping views, and forested trails make it great for cozy, woodsy photos—especially in the snow.

Mt. Falcon (West Lot)
Majestic View Park (Arvada)
Sitting on a hill overlooking the Front Range, this spot really lives up to its name. Simple but beautiful—golden light, layered mountain views, and wide open skies. Especially gorgeous in the fall.

Bear Creek Lake Park (Lakewood)
A peaceful escape with lakeside views, forest trails, and gentle open spaces. It has a calm, natural energy that works great for laid-back sessions, especially with kids or couples.

Barr Lake State Park (Brighton)
A hidden gem with tons of space and quiet nature. Think tall reeds, reflective water, and big skies. Beautiful for sunrise or golden hour.

Washington Park (Denver)
A Denver staple with massive variety. I especially love the northeast lake view at sunset and both of the flower gardens in spring and summer. Each area has its own look—making it easy to tailor the shoot to your vibe.

That iconic postcard view of Denver’s skyline and mountains? This is the spot. Near the museum, the light reflects off the lake with dramatic effect. Great for family photos, engagements, or branding sessions.

Hudson Gardens (Littleton)

Fly’n B Park (Highlands Ranch)
Small but full of personality—this charming park has a wooden bridge, winding trails, and a little pond. Great for low-key, cozy sessions with a rustic feel.

Silo Park (Greenwood Village)
One of my secret weapons. It’s tiny, but packed with diverse backdrops: evergreen trees, a silo, seasonal blossoms, and vibrant fall colors. Perfect for short and sweet sessions.

Union Station (Downtown Denver)
Classic meets modern. Inside the station is full of timeless elegance, while just outside, you’ll find red brick alleys, murals, and fountains—perfect for sophisticated or playful vibes.

Commons Park + Millennium Bridge (LoDo)
Greenery on one side, sleek architecture on the other. Great for couples or branding clients who want versatility in one short walk.

Clear Creek History Park (Golden)
Rustic cabins, split-rail fences, and a peaceful creek running through it all. This spot feels like stepping into a simpler time—with soft light and cozy textures everywhere.

Santa Fe Arts District (Denver)
Bold, creative, and full of urban personality. The art-lined alleys and industrial buildings bring serious visual interest to any shoot.

Pearl Street Mall (Boulder)
A lively pedestrian street filled with charm, character, and color. With red brick walkways, street performers, twinkling string lights, and flower beds everywhere, this spot brings a vibrant, storybook feel to any shoot. Perfect for lifestyle sessions, portraits, or branding with a touch of personality and fun.
